If people who are depressed, hide it “so well” people wouldn’t notice.

This is an interesting theory. Though, when I see this picture, I think about how uncaring our society is. It’s not that we don’t know that people are suffering all around us, it’s just that we don’t care. And that’s not really to say it’s wrong. After all, should you give a fuck about the slaves making your MP3-players in China? You don’t even know those people.

However, it is a huge paradox in a society that’s supposed to value humanitarianism.

Plus, it’s just an amazing picture in that it plays with extreme emotions.
